I received a custom order requesting a vintage style overdrive for bass. One is currently touring the US in a popular alt-country band, and the other is owned by my pal and band mate, Jonathan James of
Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltson.
It's an Timmy-inspired overdrive paralleled with a thick transistor boost for the "dry" section. I'll eventually have a production model, although it'll probably be completely op amp based.
Treble cut, distortion, wet/dry, and volume.
Here's the first vero layout. -a bit improvised.
And a smaller, more efficient layout for the second one. Output caps were switched to 10uf electrolytic.
